In such a charming state as Idaho, it is hard to choose just one mountain town that deserves the spotlight. But, if we had to make a list, near the top would be the town of Kellogg. Located in Shoshone County in the Panhandle, this incredible town is tucked away in the mountains. Kellogg, ID, is approximately 40 miles southeast of Coeur d’Alene and is located in Silver Valley. It sits right along Interstate 90, and more than 2,000 people call this beautiful town home.

Silver Mountain Resort is located in this small town, and in the winter, it offers incredible skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing adventures. If the weather doesn't want to cooperate, there is still plenty to do in Kellogg. All year long, you can pretend you are at the beach when you visit Silver Rapids Indoor Waterpark. This is the largest indoor waterpark in Idaho, and it’s one place in town that the entire family will enjoy.
