That’s certainly the case with Mick’s Home Cooking, an unassuming restaurant in Shelley, Idaho where people drive all over for its delicious food, particularly its pie. Mick’s Home Cooking is located on State Street in Shelley. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much, but the menu, particularly the pie, is what has kept guests coming back since 1980.
If you love a hearty breakfast, Mick’s Home Cooking is sure to leave you impressed. You’ll find everything from French Toast made with homemade bread to omelets packed with meat and cheese.
For lunch and dinner, you’ll find burgers, sandwiches, and other delicious entrees. However, what sets this restaurant apart is all of the homemade food items including freshly-made buns and freshly-cut French fries.
While the burgers and sandwiches are must-try items, if stopping by for dinner, try the pasta, country-fried steak, turkey, or prime rib, which is only served on Friday nights.
