Located at the base of the Sawtooth Mountains, Stanley is a sweet little mountain town that provides a delightful escape from reality. Home to just 63 people, the town is as quiet as can be. And it's here you'll find one of the most beautiful restaurants our state has to offer: Bridge St. Grill.
The first thing you'll notice about Bridge St. Grill is its idyllic location right on the Salmon River—and we mean right on it. During the spring and summer, patrons dining on the deck welcome the sight of the river rushing just a few feet beneath them.
Bridge St. has long been a popular spot for travelers and locals alike. Of Stanley's three bars, this is one of them. It's the type of restaurant you go to after a perfect day of exploring the Sawtooths or rafting the river in order to digest the adventure you just had.
The location is perfect, but the food certainly doesn't disappoint either. On the menu you'll find some Idaho favorites, such as several variations of burgers, trout, ribeye, and wild sockeye salmon.
All dinners are served with their Bridge Street Caesar salad, homemade bread, seasonal veggies, and the chef's choice of side. For those with a big appetite, we suggest the "Cowboy Prime Rib" which boasts 14 ounces of grilled perfection, or the 30-ounce bone-in rib eye steak.
Bridge St. Grill has been in business for nearly two decades now. During that time, the restaurant has certainly established itself as a staple in Stanley. Boasting a cozy Old West vibe and a small town atmosphere, it's hard not to love this place.
A visit to Bridge St. Grill may require quite the drive, but looking out at the Salmon River and the backdrop of Sawtooth Mountains, you can't help but admit that it was worth it. Visit them at State Hwy 75, Stanley, ID 83278.
