Here in Idaho, we are no strangers to cold, snowy days. Fortunately, if you love the beach, good food, and that summertime feeling, you can enjoy all of that and so much more at The Blue Wave, a locally-owned bar and grill in Idaho Falls. This beach-themed restaurant in Idaho is home to delicious food including some of the best burgers around. Even if snow is falling outside, you can still have a day at the beach at this tasty place to eat.
Welcome to The Blue Wave! Located near downtown Idaho Falls, this unassuming restaurant will quickly catch your eye with its pure blue exterior.
This bar and grill isn’t large and flashy, but it is certainly fun and lively. You’ll notice all types of beach décor from waves painted on the wall to sharks and surfboards on display.
After you have sat down, order a fried appetizer. You’ll find everything from finger steaks to poppers to fried calamari. Even better, all appetizers are served with fries.
Just make sure you don’t eat too much as you’ll want to save plenty of room for your meal. The Blue Wave is known for its delicious burgers and you’ll find an assortment of options on the menu. Each burger is made using a 1/3-pound, 100 percent beef patty and lots of tasty toppings.
If you aren’t in the mood for a burger, try a grilled sandwich. From a chicken fried steak sandwich to various chicken sandwiches, you’ll easily find something you love.
All meals are served with The Blue Wave’s fresh-cut French fries that are cooked to perfection. Tater tots and onion rings are also available for an additional cost.
