Big K BBQ opened to the public at the end of 2018. Since then, the restaurant has garnered quite the loyal following. Not only does this place serve up some absolutely mouthwatering barbecue, but guests are encouraged to eat as much of it as they possibly can at their BBQ buffet.
Known as Boise's only BBQ lunch buffet, it is served Wednesdays through Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (or until they sell out.) For just $14.95 per guest, the buffet is a delicious steal of a deal.
Help yourself to healthy servings of pork ribs, pulled pork, bourbon meatballs, smoked chicken, sausages, and so much more. You'll quickly realize why so many people swear by this place from the moment you take your first bite.
Big K's head chef, Capt. K, is a certified Kansas City Barbecue Society judge and competition cook, and it definitely shows. This quaint eatery definitely knows what they're doing when it comes to cooking up some delicious barbecue on-site, and you'll find yourself endlessly reaching for "just one more bite."
Just be sure not to skimp on the side dishes because they are just as good as the entrees. Featuring incredible potato salad, coleslaw, barbecue beans, and macaroni and cheese, Big K has all the classics that you know and love.
