Home to over 250 animal species, exploring the Aquarium of Boise is a must for any animal lover. From sharks to manta rays, chameleons to pythons, you'll be left in awe at the fascinating creatures waiting to be uncovered!
All in all, the aquarium is home to 38 exhibits that will satisfy your curiosity and fill you with wonder. The Shark and Puffer exhibit is one of the most notable areas. The exhibit holds 17,000 gallons of seawater and it even boasts a coral refugium for biological filtration and health.
The Ray Pool is another hotspot within the aquarium. The pool allows you to get up close and personal with these guys, which include California Bat Rays, California Butterfly Rays, and Pacific Diamond Rays.
In addition to marine life, the aquarium is also home to several reptiles. The reptile exhibit showcases a variety of reptilian species including geckos, snakes, chameleons, iguanas, frogs, and even a Ball Python.
The aquarium is open every day except for major holidays. Daily admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $9 for kids 7-11, and $7 for kids 3-6. After you've spent plenty of time with the animals, be sure to stop by the gift shop for a souvenir!
