After college, she chose to trade in her winter boots for slippahs and moved to the beautiful island of Oahu, where she has been living for more than five years. She lives on the west side but is constantly taking mini-road trips across the island and visits the neighboring islands whenever she can getaway. She loves hiking, snorkeling, locally-grown coffee, and finding the best acai bowl on Oahu.
There’s no dish more classically American than the hamburger, and nowhere better to enjoy a mouthwatering burger than Hawaii’s iconic Village Burger. According to “America’s 10 Most Delectable Burger Joints,” published on the TripAdvisor blog, this burger joint serves the 8th best hamburgers in the country – and while we obviously haven’t sampled all the burgers available across our great nation, we do tend to believe that the fare from Village Burger stands out in a crowd.
Village Burger is open from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily, and is located on Hawaii Island in the Parker Ranch Center at 67-1185 Mamalahoa Highway in Waimea.
