After college, she chose to trade in her winter boots for slippahs and moved to the beautiful island of Oahu, where she has been living for more than five years. She lives on the west side but is constantly taking mini-road trips across the island and visits the neighboring islands whenever she can getaway. She loves hiking, snorkeling, locally-grown coffee, and finding the best acai bowl on Oahu.
Most people who visit Hawaii find themselves in Laie for one of three reasons: they are taking in a luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center, they are visiting Brigham Young University’s Hawaii campus, or they are driving through on their way around the island. But Laie is also home to an incredible lookout point of the windward coast, some phenomenal beaches, a laid-back, country vibe, and one of the best burger joints in the Aloha State.
Seven Brothers is located at 55-510 Kamehameha Hwy., Laie, HI 96762, and is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Friday. They are closed Sunday. For more information, visit their website or follow them on Facebook.
