Whether you are dining at a fancy Italian bistro or simply grabbing a slice from the pizzeria down the street, everyone loves a good slice of pizza. Hawaii isn’t necessarily known for their delicious Italian food, but luckily for us, there are still a few excellent pizzerias across the islands to satisfy that ever-present pizza craving.

This Honolulu Irish pub and pizzeria is the only local shop that made Pizza Today’s Top 100 list. Gross sales in 2014 reached $2.4 million.

Featuring locally sourced, organic ingredients, Flatbread Company serves up delicious made-to-order flatbread pizzas baked in a wood fire oven.


Now this one is a personal preference, but Boston’s does pizza by the slice, delicious and cheap. The perfect place to stop while out running errands when you don’t really want fast food, but you also don’t want to spend a lot of money.

Because this little shop makes their own meats, the prices can be a little steep. However, it’s totally worth the price tag when you sink your teeth into that first delicious bite.


This little pizzeria located next to the airport is known for their garlic cheesy balls, a perfect appetizer to enjoy while waiting for your pizza. Also cool is the fact that any pizza can be ordered as a sub sandwich. Be warned though – they can get incredibly busy, so be sure to call in that order way in advance.

Though this shop features a variety of entrees, their pizza is marvelous, with several unique options – like chili shrimp pizza. They also have a location in Waimea, if you’re in the area.
