Must-Visit Swap Meets In Hawaii Where You’ll Find Awesome Stuff
What Hawaii lacks in the luxuries of mainland shopping, they make up for with beautiful beaches, stellar views and a laid-back lifestyle. And while there are only a few flea markets – or swap meets – throughout the Hawaiian Islands, you can find some great bargains on clothes, souvenirs, food, and gifts at these three swap meets if you live on Oahu or Maui.

Held at the centrally-located Aloha Stadium every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the swap meet features more than 400 vendors, crafters, and artists from around the world. The most popular swap meet in the Hawaiian Islands, visitors can find stunning artwork, local crafts, and a plethora of island-themed souvenirs. It’s also one of the cheapest places to get fresh leis on Oahu.

You’ll find everything from jewelry, gifts and crafts to food, clothing, plants and fresh flowers at the Maui Swap Meet, held every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. With a view of west Maui mountains, more than 200 vendors, and various food concessions, it is the best – albeit pretty much the only – flea market/swap meet in the Hawaiian Islands outside Oahu.

For more than 35 years, the Kam Swap meet has welcomed locals and visitors alike to their swap meet, held every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shoppers can find household goods, music, appliances, tools, crafts, antiques, art, and homemade, local food. Oh, and did we mention that admission is FREE for buyers? Because it is, and that’s a wonderful perk, especially if you just want to browse and grab some ono grinds. Note: Rumor has it that the swap meet will be closing soon, though apparently, it will soon be replaced by a new shopping center.
So, please, tell us, is the favorite item you’ve found at a Hawaii swap meet?
