Hawaii's Cool Cat Cafe Serves Alcoholic Milkshakes And Burgers Galore

Located along the famed Front Street in Lahaina is a 1950s-style, family-owned diner called Cool Cat Cafe. If you haven’t been here, you need to make plans to go. Not only has this diner been voted as having the ‘Best Burger on Maui’ for several years running, but it also serves boozy milkshakes, which is the icing on the cake of reasons to go.
Located at the Wharf Cinema Center on the top floor and across from the Lahaina Harbor, you'll find Cool Cat Cafe offering the best burgers and shakes on the island since 1992.
Enjoy the retro 1950s vibe as you sit at a counter or booth surrounded by memorabilia of the era, checkered floors, and even an old jukebox. This place even has an arcade for the kids and for those who are kids at heart.
The extensive menu has plenty of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entrees to choose from, but the biggest draw is the burgers. There are 14 mouthwatering burgers, each one made with 100% Certified hand-pressed Angus beef, fresh produce, and bakery-fresh buns.
The burger names mostly reference pop culture from the 1950s. Try a Marilyn Burger topped with cheese, mild green chilis, lettuce, tomato, sweet Maui onions, mayo, and thousand island dressing. Or perhaps a La Bamba Burger topped with homemade chili, cheddar cheese, and sweet Maui onions is more your speed.
Each month, Cool Cat Cafe offers a special, innovative burger of the month. Shown here is the Westside Best-Side burger topped with a fried egg, red onion, bacon bits, sprouts, and tomato, all sandwiched between an everything bagel that's been smeared with scallion and garlic cream cheese. Yum!
For the 21-and-older folks, you may choose to wash down your burger with a boozy adult milkshake. These delectable, alcohol-laden ice cream concoctions are a drink and dessert all in one!
With six Adult Milk Shakes to choose from, you are sure to find one you love. Try a Banana Foster which is a blend of Tuaca and banana liquor, fresh bananas, caramel sauce, and local vanilla ice cream for a sweet treat.
The We're Skrewed shake is made with Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, vanilla ice cream, peanut butter, and a chocolate drizzle for something incredibly decadent.
If you don't drink alcohol, don't worry! Cool Cat Cafe offers plenty of other desserts and even has a build-your-own milkshake menu.
