After college, she chose to trade in her winter boots for slippahs and moved to the beautiful island of Oahu, where she has been living for more than five years. She lives on the west side but is constantly taking mini-road trips across the island and visits the neighboring islands whenever she can getaway. She loves hiking, snorkeling, locally-grown coffee, and finding the best acai bowl on Oahu.
When you call an archipelago surrounded by the Pacific Ocean home, you inevitably become spoiled by the incredible, fresh seafood options available to you. While we love splurging on fancy seafood dinners every once in a while, it is the casual, laid-back eateries that serve the most mouthwatering seafood the Hawaiian Islands have to offer. With two locations on Maui and one on Kauai, the fish tacos served at Coconut’s Fish Cafe are sure to satisfy your taste buds — and make you a lifelong customer after just one bite.
Featuring family-friendly atmosphere, exceptionally delicious and healthy food, and plenty of Aloha spirit, the original Coconut’s Fish Cafe opened in Kihei, Hawaii in 2009 and quickly became a favorite with locals and tourists alike.
Coconut’s has been featured in Travel + Leisure as one of the "Top 100 Places to Eat Like A Local," as well as CNN’s "Top 10 Places To Eat Like A Local" and their "Top 100 Seafood Restaurants In The World."

With bright colors, bamboo accents, custom surfboard tables, and island music playing through the speakers, Coconut’s Fish Cafe will have you feeling right at home as soon as you walk in.
And while a welcoming atmosphere is always appreciated, you probably want to hear about the seafood, don’t you? This fast-casual eatery specializes in serving high quality, healthy, and delicious seafood dishes with Hawaiian-inspired flavors.
From coconut shrimp and calamari steaks to salads, soups, and sandwiches, as well as fish and chips, there’s something for everyone to love at Coconut’s Fish Cafe.
But the star of the show here is the fish tacos. Fresh mahi mahi is served on a white corn tortilla and topped with a variety of 17 unique ingredients, including cheese, tomato or mango salsa, and coleslaw.
In true Hawaiian fashion, Coconut's also serves more than half a dozen plate lunches served on brown rice, from grilled ono, seared ahi, and macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi. You can even find a few non-fish dishes.
