With more than 10 years of experience as a professional writer, Megan holds a degree in Mass Media from her home state of Minnesota. After college, she chose to trade in her winter boots for slippahs and moved to the beautiful island of Oahu, where she has been living for more than five years. She lives on the west side but is constantly taking mini-road trips across the island and visits the neighboring islands whenever she can getaway. She loves hiking, snorkeling, locally-grown coffee, and finding the best acai bowl on Oahu.
There is absolutely nothing better than watching the waves of the Pacific Ocean crash against the sand at any of Hawaii’s beautiful beaches — except maybe doing so during sunset. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, Hawaii’s beach parks are currently closed and all incoming airline passengers are being forced to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival. While we’re hunkered down at home, we can still experience Hawaii’s natural beauty from afar via these 8 coastal live streams. Grab a cup of Kona coffee or a locally-made beer, click on one of these epic live streams, and let your mind relax.
While we can’t go to the beaches right now, these live streams certainly help at least a little bit. We’d love to hear from you: how are you staying relaxed through these uncertain times? What’s the first Hawaii destination you plan to visit once the shelter in place order is lifted? Sound off in the comments below.
