When looking for a new restaurant to visit in the Aloha State, you undoubtedly look for three things: mouthwatering food, a warm and welcoming ambiance, and an unforgettable experience. While the Hawaiian Islands are home to countless incredible restaurants that match this description, today we’re featuring a charming little cafe that plant lovers will absolutely adore.
Welcome to Arvo Cafe! This specialty coffee shop tucked away inside Paiko — a cozy plant shop in the heart of Honolulu’s Kaka’ako neighborhood — is truly one-of-a-kind.
From drip coffee and cold brews to espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, and matcha lattes, there’s a little bit of everything on the coffee menu here. This rose and pistachio latte looks particularly wonderful!
You’ll find so much more than coffee on the menu here! The menu is constantly changing, but at any given time, you might get to choose from a variety of scrumptious salads, sandwiches, burgers, and avocado toasts with a special focus on Aussie cuisine. Vegemite toast, anyone?
This Moroccan salad is filled with couscous, mint, parsley, wildflowers, watermelon radish, and berries with a homemade orange turmeric vinaigrette dressing and haloumi. Talk about delicious!
Whether you visit with a group of friends to catch up over a cup of coffee or stop by for a quick, affordable bite to eat, you won’t be disappointed with any trip to Arvo Cafe.
While parking can be tricky, ordering coffee couldn't be easier. Simply order online and pick up at the window — your morning caffeine fix has never been so delicious.
Arvo Cafe is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit their website or follow them on Facebook. Have you ever been to Arvo Cafe? If so, what’s your favorite thing to order?
