I love the idea of camping, but primitive camping isn’t necessarily my thing. I would much rather enjoy comfort while surrounded by nature. If you can relate, then glamping is a great option for you! This more glamorous form of camping is the ideal middle ground between a hotel or luxury cabin and roughing it in a tent. One unique option for glamping is staying in yurts in Georgia. These structures are sturdier than pitched tents and typically have electricity and beds. You can find them at many yurt campgrounds in Georgia. Here are seven yurt camping spots where you can sleep comfortably.
The yurts at Fort Yargo State Park have air conditioning and electricity, and can sleep up to six. This is a fantastic option if you're really wanting to immerse yourself in the park and have an extended stay.

Sweetwater Creek State Park is such a fun place in Lithia Springs. Though it's only about 15 miles west of Atlanta, it feels like another world away. There's even a creepy trail here where you can see the ruins of an abandoned mill!

The next Georgia state park on this list also is home to a trail that will take you to historic ruins! Red Top Mountain State Park is home to the mountain that shares its name as well as the Homestead Trail, where you can see the remnants of a century-old homestead.
The yurts here are lovely! Up to six people can stay here, making it a great option for a family or group of friends. Find out more about accommodation rentals at the Georgia State Parks website.
