She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). Many people are surprised to learn that we have a wine region in Georgia. The industry is rapidly growing here, and you’ll find a number of great vineyards in the northern regions of the Peach State. Even if you’re not a fan of wine, the wineries themselves are quite fascinating to visit, and they’re often tucked into absolutely stunning landscapes. We may not be as well-known as Napa Valley, but there are so many cities in Georgia wine country that are worth a visit. One of our favorites is the small mountain town of Mountain City. This little Rabun County town has a population of just under 1,000, and between it and nearby Rabun Gap, there are more than enough attractions to make it worthy of a getaway.
