Moving away from your home state can be really tough. Especially when it’s a state like Georgia that is thriving with beauty, nature, kind people, and exciting things to do. No matter where you end up in this world, whether moving temporarily or permanently, if Georgia is your home, you’ll absolutely miss quite a few things. Here are a few of those things Georgians end up missing the most.
If you’ve moved to another state, the chances of you getting the type of greenery you’ll get in Georgia are slim-to-none. Georgia is so rich with trees, especially those huge, leafy green ones, that it’s hard to move away and not miss seeing green.
Georgia is teeming with natural beauty, especially in their state parks. Between Tallulah Gorge, Cloudland Canyon, Sapelo Island, and Wormsloe Historic Site, there is so much protected allure (over 75,000 acres to be exact) it’s hard to find that anywhere else.

If ever you’ve moved away from Georgia and that happens to be the year your sports team makes it to the playoffs, I’m sorry. I’m really truly sorry.

Really, there are so many states out there with views that aren't even half as magical as the ones Georgia has. Whether up high on a mountain or standing at the base of a waterfall, those Georgia views can't be beat.
Most states don't have the type of comfort food that Georgia does, so it's really easy to be nostalgic about such incredibly delicious eats.
Georgia grows some pretty darn fresh produce, which makes any other produce, nuts, fruit, or legumes grown elsewhere taste a bit different.
