When you hike through Tallulah Gorge, you never really know what you’ll find—whether it’s a swinging bridge, a series of flowing cascades, or gorge views riddled with rolling fog.
The trek to Sliding Rock by way of Bridal Veil Falls clocks in at around 4 miles and will take you to an epic natural rock slide that people love to shoot down.
First things first, getting to the gorge floor requires you to get a permit, which is free but will only be given to the first 100 hikers who are at the interpretative center.
