In Tifton, Georgia, there is a house unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Don’t believe me? Here are a few facts:

  1. This house is considered a luxury home.
  2. This house is nuclear-proof.
  3. This house is underground.
  4. This house is worth $17.5 million.

Now, if that didn’t pique your interest, I don’t know what would.

This massive underground bunker was built in 1969, in order to keep safe during the Cold War. Apparently, someone in Georgia didn’t think the U.S. and Russia would work out their differences, so they built a bunker to withstand a 20-kiloton nuclear blast.

This fortified wonderland has 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, built 45-feet underground. It was fully renovated in 2012 in order to meet all the EPA regulations. Among a few of the other features are home theater seats, HVAC underground systems, conference rooms, first-aid nurse rooms, a modern commercial kitchen, luxury apartments that sleep 13, five staff bedrooms and a firearm range.
