Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). The Atlanta Botanical Garden is one of the top destinations in Georgia. This stunning 30-acre oasis is in the heart of Atlanta, near Piedmont Park. Here, you’ll find a variety of plant species and educational exhibits on the world around us. There are several themed gardens throughout the premises, plus a canopy walk and rotating exhibits. Did you know you can also find a beautiful garden cafe? The two-story Longleaf Restaurant is a great spot to grab a bite to eat while you’re checking out the collections here. The food is as delicious as the building and gardens are beautiful.
