The Peach State is really big, so it goes without saying we have a number of great places to visit, especially in the warmer months. If you’re looking for great summer trips in Georgia, your problem will likely be choosing which place to visit! One of our favorite summer destinations is the little coastal town of Darien. It may not get quite as much publicity as nearby Brunswick and Savannah, but it’s a delightful little place rich in natural beauty and fascinating history.

It's the oldest planned city in Georgia and has a population of just under 2,000.
