The Three Forks to Hawk Mountain Shelter hiking trail is located just outside of Ellijay, Georgia and clocks in under 8 miles out and back. The coolest part about this entire hiking trail is that it'll take you past an old graveyard known as Hickory Flats Cemetery, which is filled with old Georgia history.

Visiting this temple in Atlanta is nothing short of spectacular. You don’t need to be of the Hindu faith in order to visit and appreciate the architecture throughout. The Mandir is comprised of 3 different types of stone—Turkish Limestone, Italian marble, and Indian pink sandstone. Over 30,000 individual pieces were carved by hand and shipped over for assembly. Purely breathtaking to see in person.

Completed in 1807, this structure is known to be the oldest standing masonry jail within the state of Georgia. With a castle-like appearance and a castellated roof line, this old jail is both astounding to see from the inside as well as the outside.
