Savannah is truly a city unlike any other. It's one of the most historic and beautiful cities in Georgia. There are enough attractions in the downtown area alone that you could easily spend a week there, but a weekend is long enough to get a great feel for this charming coastal city.

Senoia is a small town that's one of our favorite weekend trips in Georgia. The town has recently garnered fame as the filming location for many scenes in the hit television show The Walking Dead. There are lots of great restaurants and shops to visit here, and you can also see some of the sites that appeared in the show.

Helen, GA 30545, USA
Though it doesn't even have a population of 1,000, Helen is truly one of the most magical towns in Georgia. This town was once a player in the logging industry, but over the last several decades, has become a tourist utopia. It's been redesigned to look like a small German village. It's especially magical in the fall, when you'll see some of the best fall foliage in the Peach State. If you're into shopping, the downtown area is delightful, but there's also much natural beauty in this part of the state.
