Unfortunately, Georgia is simply too big for us to have planned a road trip through the entire state, so we're sticking to around the Atlanta area. Crave Pie Studio actually has locations in both Alpharetta and Duluth, but for this trip, we'll start with the Duluth location.

You'll find a variety of mini pies here, with several that are always on the menu, plus a rotating selection of specials. The pies come in 5" and 10" sizes. We love that the small size means you can pick up several to try different flavors without having to feel too overindulgent.

Your next stop is The Pie Hole, which serves up homemade pies out of a charmingly rustic old barn in downtown Roswell.
You'll find a huge array of pies here, and if you're wanting to opt for something a little more meal-like, the shop offers savory pies as well.

Southern Sweets Bakery offers up not only delicious desserts, but also has a cafe with sandwiches and salads available. The spot was founded in 1992 by Nancy Cole, who passed away just a few years ago, but her legacy lives on with her tasty fare sold in the shop today.
