Most people don’t know there’s a trolley tour in Georgia in the state’s second capital city. But this magical ride through Milledgeville is the best way to see this historic city.
Milledgeville was Georgia's second capital city. If you've never visited this historic treasure, then you're in for a real treat, including loads of historic old homes to gawk at.

You'll also love strolling though historic downtown and exploring the many shops and restaurants.

But the absolute best way to see this wonderful old city is to take the trolley tour.
It departs from the Convention and Visitors Bureau at 200 W Hancock St. once per day, Monday through Saturday. The route takes you through some of the oldest parts of town.
And stops at some of the most unique places you'll see in Milledgeville. There are rotating interior visits of the places shown in this article, but you'll at least always get to see the exteriors.
