Hop on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway for a family-friendly adventure through Georgia. This four-hour trip will take guests to the charming sister towns of McCaysville, Georgia, and Copperhill, Tennessee, through the mountains and the lush, scenic landscapes. But what some might say is the best part of the whole trip is arriving at McCaysville and being able to chow down on wood-fired pizza at the Twisted Tomato.
Starting at the train depot in downtown Blue Ridge, guests will climb aboard for a four-hour, 26-mile journey along the North Georgia countryside.
But the first leg of the journey will take guests on a one-hour train ride to McCaysville, where there they will have a two-hour layover to enjoy the charming town.
If you’re a fan of wood-fired pizza, then you’ll love dining at Twisted Tomato. The pies always come out piping hot, with just the right char along the edges.
