Vidalia is approximately a 2.5-hour drive from Atlanta, or 1.5 hours from Savannah. Visiting downtown Vidalia is a little like stepping back in time.
No visit to Vidalia is complete without a stop at the popular Vidalia Onion Museum – on Sweet Onion Drive no less. It offers a children's area and, though small, is jam-packed with interesting and eye-catching memorabilia.
