There are approximately 200,000 gators in Georgia and all are below the fall line, which strecehs from Muscogee County East to Richmond and Burke County. Not only do we have alligators, but we also have a plethora of wild animals. While many of them are awesome to look at, make sure you don't touch!

The traffic in Atlanta is kind of horrific because so many people from the surrounding suburbs drive into the city every day for work, clogging up Hwy 85, 75, 400 and 20. A few months ago, the Atlanta/Sandy Springs-Roswell area was deemed as the longest traffic commute in the country!

You do not want to be around when pollen season comes to town! It is the worst! If you've never had allergies before, prepared to experience them now that you're in Georgia! Our pollen levels reach extremely high levels every year and coat everyone and everything in a thick blanket of pollen.

If you've ever drove on a major highway in Georgia you know we have tons of semi-trucks on the road day and night. Add on our extensive traffic problem and you have yourself the perfect conditions for smog! Smog causes respiratory disease and is especially harsh on the kids. The best thing we can do is use public transportation when possible, and eat from local grocers. Not only will this improve our health, but it will remove literally "tons" of gallons of pollution from the air every day!

This road in Brasstown County is a perfect example of a country road to avoid. Some parts of Georgia are really rural, meaning no cell phone signal or gas stations for miles. You don't want to break down on the side of this type of road!
I have to admit–there’s not too many things to avoid here in Georgia! We sure do love our state don’t we? What else can you think of that Georgia folks should beware of? Let us know!
