What more do we love in Georgia than our food, family and friends? Well, I have a list of a few more things that every Georgia person loves–and just has to have in their home! Here are 11 undeniable things you’ll find in every Georgia home:
Here in Georgia we are real big on family, with our cousins usually being some of our best friends! You're sure to find multiple generations in a Georgia home at any given time. Whether we're gathering for a family meal, celebrating someone's graduation or just visiting after work, we're always with our loved ones!
From fishing poles to boats and swimming suits, we are always prepared to get in the water! There's always an opportunity to, since we have dozens of swimming holes all over Georgia and we have the largest swimming hole of all in our backyard--the Atlantic Ocean!

We love nature, and you'll always find flowers, small plants or some other type of nature in our home. We're used to always having nature in our presence, whether that's indoors or outdoor!

Where would we be without our southern love?Since family is so important to us, there's nothing more important to us than love. We love our family, our food and our wonderful Georgia lives!
You will definitely find evidence of a Georgia person's favorite sports team hanging in their house. It will most definitely be the Falcons, Bulldogs or the Yellow Jackets.

You can't mention Georgia without mentioning their food in the same breath! We love our fried chicken, cornbread and mac n' cheese (We all swear we make the best!) and every Georgia home has at least one person who can prepare you a southern dinner!
The second next best thing to Georgia family is our friends! Like I said before, our social and personal relationships mean everything to us, and we're just not happy unless we're socializing a bit!
Georgia is definitely a part of the Bible belt and most of us are Christians (about 85%.) Here, your grandma will chastise you for not attending church every Sunday. We love religion and will tell you all about it any chance we get!

What can I say? We love being active, and getting outdoors is like second nature to us! Baseball, basketball and bike riding are some of our favorite past times!
This is a picture of the Cotton Exchange in Savannah, GA. It was built in 1886 and set the prices for cotton. As I've said before, there's a little bit of history no matter where you go in Georgia. That history might be in the stories your grandmother tells, or in your actual home. You never know what story is waiting to be told in Georgia!
