Georgians have a fierce type of passion that really can’t be rivaled. That’s why we all feel so dedicated and loyal to this great state. There are a quite a few things that Georgians are insanely passionate about. Georgias are fiercely loyal to their sports teams. Whether it's supporting their college team, or forever hoping the Falcons make it to the big game, Georgians are passionate about sports.
Everyone in Georgia knows that the only soda that exists is Coca Cola. It was created here and Georgians are passionate and proud of this contribution to the rest of the world.
There are so many different places in Georgia to explore the outdoors, that is part of the reason why Georgians live in this state. They are intensely passionate about the outdoors and every adventure that comes along with it.
Georgians are passionate about knowing that Ranch dressing can be put on anything, any time, any way. Some might consider it a gift from God, some might not be able to eat a meal without it.
Georgia is a state filled with agricultural prowess. Pecans, peaches, peanuts, blueberries and beyond. This great state produces some of the best in the biz, and Georgians are insanely passionate about their crops.
6. Knowing that shrimp and grits should be its own food group.
There's always a huge debate on where this stew originated. While some believe it was Virginia, others are adamant it was Georgia. If ever you want to see a fight, tell a Georgian you've had the best Brunswick Stew in the state of Virginia.
8. Recognizing that frying foods should be an Olympic Sport.
Georgians deep fry a lot. Not only does it provide such a savory flavor, it also crisps the heck out of everything. If deep frying were an Olympic sport, then Georgians would win hands down.
Georgians aren't too fond of over development. Since the state has such a unique and appreciative history, why ruin a good thing? Georgians like to keep things natural and appreciate them every chance they get.
Georgians are pretty passionate about weather. So much so that at the first sign of a few snow flakes, the grocery store shelves will be bare in no time.
Bugs run rampant in Georgia. Mosquitoes in particular. But Georgians don't let these insects get them down. An outdoor gathering isn't complete without some good old fashioned bug spray.
12. The fact that Georgia will always be a beach state.
Some states take this little tidbit for granted. But Georgians don't. They love the fact that their beautiful home is considered a beach state and visit any one of those magical beaches each summer.
