Swainsboro is an unassuming little city in Emanuel County, not too far outside of Statesboro. The city is home to several rivers, and is a wonderful place for outdoor fun. With a population of around 7,500, it’s a great middle ground between a small town and a larger city. You’ll find a number of great attractions here, and one of the most popular is an annual event that’s one of the best spring festivals in Georgia. The Pine Tree Festival is held each May and attracts thousands of visitors from all over the state to Swainsboro. This family-friendly event is always a blast, and this year’s rendition is sure to be great. The 2023 Pine Tree Festival will be held Saturday, May 5, 2023, but there are lots of events to check out on Friday, May 4 if you’d like to arrive in town early.
