There are plenty of ways to get your fill of animals while you’re spending time in Georgia. In fact, we have a handful of things to do in Georgia that are absolutely perfect for animal lovers. But if you’re looking for a more small-town experience, one that is made by appointment only which is as private as it gets, then we have the perfect farm experience for you.
Right in the small town of Canton, Georgia, you’ll find a farm experience that is not what you would usually expect.
For over 25 years, Tanglewood Farms Miniatures has encouraged, empowered, and enriched visitors with the therapeutic benefits that their kind, hand-raised miniature farm animals offer.
Tanglewood Farms was the first farm in the entire country to introduce a variety of miniature breeds from different areas of the world in order to develop what is called a "Foundation Bloodline" in order to preserve the bloodline of animals that are either extinct or near extinct.
Because Tanglewood is a private working farm, visitors must make an appointment for a tour in advance, which lasts under an hour, but provides so much information and fun for all.
