Georgia is one of the best places to live, as evidenced by the 100,000 new residents that move here every year. The big cities in other states are overrated and overpriced! People love our laid-back culture, good food, and clean air. You can come down here and walk in a park or experience a historic Georgia town. It’s the perfect place for young college students to build their lives, young couples to experience romantic getaways, and families to raise their children. If that’s not enough to convince you that living in Georgia is the best, here are a dozen reasons you should move to Georgia immediately.

There are tons of festivals here in Georgia! No matter what your interest is, we have a festival for it. The Georgia Renaissance Festival is an immensely popular summer event. Each Labor Day, Atlanta welcomes thousands of visitors to Dragon Con, one of the largest sci-fi conventions in the country.
There is so much to be had in the booming capital of Atlanta. This big, beautiful city is full of possibilities. Whether you're looking for a career, building a network, or just getting the big little city feel, Atlanta's got it!
Thinking about moving to Georgia? Atlanta is a small tech hub. Athens, Augusta, and Columbus are all great cities with lots of job openings. Georgia is home to 15 Fortune 500 companies.
We don't typically have to deal with shoveling snow! Most of the year, we have warm, temperate weather. Once you've been living in Georgia for a while, you may start to take it for granted, but we really do have some great weather that many others don't get to experience.
Another reason moving to Georgia is a good idea, we have some of the best high schools in the nation in our state. Among the most notable are the school systems in Alpharetta and Johns Creek. We've also got several great colleges, including Emory, the University of Georgia (go Dawgs!), and Georgia Tech.
If you're into botany, then you'll love living in Georgia! Visitors often comment on Georgia's abundance of green. We natives may not notice it, but there are green trees and green plants everywhere. To arrivals from big cities, the sight of trees can be really beautiful and refreshing.
