If you’re from or familiar with Georgia then you likely already know about the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. For anyone unfamiliar, this nonprofit is working to create a network of trails from former rail lines, not just in Georgia, but throughout the nation. While there are 1600 rail-trails supported nationwide, there are a few gems in Georgia that are with checking out, especially the Woodbine Trail in Woodbine, Georgia. We absolutely love this unique stroll!
