The Steakhouse in Rockmart, Georgia is a classic, quintessential restaurant that has been open since 1998.
When you pair together a beautiful country setting and some of the most mouthwatering steaks, the result is a homey spot with high-quality cuts of meat.
The menu here is as no-frills as it gets, with an emphasis on quality food cooked well. The whole meal can be as simple as some sweet tea, a basket of fried pickles, a baked potato, and a sizzling steak.
But really the country-style ambiance of the entire building is what really makes the place shine. You can sit out on the back porch and enjoy a slow Georgia evening in the countryside.
Beyond the steak, there are also weekly specials, too, from the home-cooked meats and veggies on Wednesday nights and for Sunday lunch, as well as all-you-can-eat fish and shrimp on Thursday.
But really it doesn’t get much better than a huge hunk of prime rib, BBQ pork ribs, a 22 ounce Porter House, or a T-Bone, cooked just the way you like it.
