I swear, there’s nothing that tastes better than the fresh fruit and vegetables from our Georgia land. Have you ever gotten out on one of our farms and picked your own food? If not, you better put this on your bucket list before November, or you’ll miss your chance to experience some of the best gifts Georgia’s nature has to offer!
Come down to Burt’s Farms in Dawsonville and pick yourself a 150 lb. pumpkin! Burt’s is known to have every type of pumpkin, squash and gourd you can think of. With the thousands of pumpkins they grow, it wouldn’t be right if you didn’t come down and try some of their fresh pumpkin pies and pumpkin rolls!
2. Quinn's Greenhouse- 1060 W. Tennessee Ave., McCaysville, GA 30555
Experience the crisp and refreshing taste of greens year round from Quinn's Greenhouse. They have 12 greenhouses full of veggies that are herbicide and pesticide free.

3. Mercier Orchards - 660 Blue Ridge Drive, Blue Ridge, GA 30513
Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, where you can pick yourself some apples, blackberries, blueberries, cherries and strawberries--and try some of their fresh home made apple cider while you're at it!
Truly get your pick of farm fresh food at Lowrey's Farm Market in Rome. Their speciality is blueberries as well, but they have a whole assortment of different vegetables, prime cut beef and sausage.
Pick apples here until November 1. You can truly enjoy yourself at this gorgeous farm in Ellijay. In addition to having a petting zoo and farm animals, its also a fantastic venue for weddings.
Here's another place where you can get freshly made apple cider--and wild honey! This place is also loads of fun and features pony rides, mini golf, a petting zoo and face painting.
7. Cedar Hill Farms - 274 Cedar Hill Drive SW, Calhoun, GA 30701
Experience the best that Dahlonega has to offer at this cute farm in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. You have more than 200 bushes to select ripe blueberries from, and they offer hayrides as well.

LaFayette, Georgia
Get out on this quaint blueberry farm in LaFayette. They're open from sunup to sundown everyday, except Wednesday.
