We have no shortage of great seafood restaurants in Georgia. Our long coastline and extensive history of soul food cooking means you can get your hands on plenty of great fresh seafood, from Savannah down to St. Mary’s. When it comes to crab, there’s one place we prefer over most: The Fat and Fine Crab Shack in Brunswick. This little spot doesn’t look like much: it’s the epitome of “seafood shack.” The Fat and Fine Crab Shack may be low on frills, but it’s certainly high on flavor. You can get the freshest, tastiest food around, practically right off the boat, from these guys.
Fat and Fine Crab Shack is an extremely simple spot. It doesn't even have an indoor dining room and is easy to overlook, tucked away in a residential area.
You'll find affordable, massive portions no matter what you order. The crab legs are some of the best around, but there's also plenty of fried options and traditional low country boil sides.
Snow crab, blue crab, fried shrimp, chicken wings: this little seafood shack in Georgia has a diverse menu. The garlicky butter sauce that tops many of their dishes is so delicious you'll want to lick your fingers clean when you're done.
This is such a great no-frills spot. It's hidden away in a less popular area of Brunswick, but it's most definitely worth a visit if you want great seafood in Georgia.
