Check out these generous Georgia towns, all within the top 75 of the most generous metropolitan areas in the country!
Albany comes in first on our list with an average of more than $4,200 in contributions per year. Albany has given more than $67 million total.
Macon gives an average of $4,000 per person, and has given more than $100 million in contributions.

Hinesville is close behind with an average of $3,536 in contributions per person. They've given more than $16 million in total.

Columbus gives $3,855 on average per person, and has contributed more than $124 million. They are lower on the list because the average discretionary income in Columbus is more than $52K, while Hinesville is more than $46K.
Augusta gives an average of $3,878 per resident and has given a whopping $255,041,972 in donations so far!
Warner Robins gives $3,594 per resident on average and has given more than $58 million in donations so far.
