Let’s preface this by saying – we’re sorry in advance for who this post is going to offend. But Georgia has a canyon that rivals all others. Do we think the Grand Canyon is a delightful gem with endless and bountiful beauty? Of course. But do we think that Georgia’s Cloudland Canyon has some of the most underrated magic in the United States? 100 percent. In case you need a refresher on just how majestic this canyon is, we have you covered.
When you think of the word canyon, you might picture jagged, dry, autumnal colors with crevices that stretch thousands of feet into the sky. But Cloudland Canyon in Georgia is a slightly different type of canyon.
This is part of the reason why this canyon is so darn beautiful - the canyon as the fog rolls in is wildly different than during the fall season. But both are equally beautiful.
There are waterfalls within this park, too, which only add to the overall appeal. Check out Cherokee Falls and Hemlock Falls for a really jaw-dropping experience.
If you’re ready for one of the most breathtaking scenes in all of Georgia, and throughout the United States, make sure you head on over to Cloudland Canyon.
