Pies are pretty spectacular, and we have no shortage of delicious pie shops in Georgia. But do you know what sounds even better than pies? Fried pies. You can get just that at the Peach State’s Jaemor Farms. This small town farm sells amazing produce that people drive for miles to obtain. If you’d like something a little less healthy, but just as delicious, you will definitely want to check out the fried pies here. They come in a variety of flavors and are the perfect snack at any time of year.
The actual farm part of Jaemor Farms is located in Alto. It was established back in 1912 and now spans 88 acres. Attached to the farm is a farm market that's the largest of its kind in Georgia.
There's also a smaller Jaemor Farms market about half an hour away in the town of Banks Crossing.
You'll find some wonderful goods at either location. You can pick up handmade crafts, delicious locally-grown produce, and items like honey and spices.
You can also enjoy seasonal ice cream with your pie, and the Banks Crossing location even has a deli inside where you can get a custom sandwich with your preferred toppings.
