There is nothing quite like driving or hiking through Georgia nature and seeing so much from just one vantage point. While Georgia does have some pretty fascinating drives and stopping points, we have one that remains under-the-radar, but is such a natural gem. Chestatee Overlook in Georgia is situated in Dahlonega but is worth the drive to get these views. Imagine seeing all the best Georgia has to offer from one incredible spot.
Chestatee Overlook in Georgia is in the Chattahoochee National Forest and offers one of the best scenic views in the entire state.
Anyone who wants a little bit of exercise with their scenery can take the Chestatee Overlook Ridge Trail which is 1.4-miles out and back with a forested setting and incredible views.
But even just driving up in your car will give you amazing scenery right through your windshield. Just drive 11.7 miles from Dahlonega up State Highway 60 past the entrance to Dockery Lake Campground.
