1. Lake Allatoona

Lake Allatoona is located in Cherokee, Cobb, and Bartow Counties. Lake Allatoona is a popular place in Georgia where visitors can swim, fish, water ski, hike, or just simply cool off during the summer. This 12,000-acre lake is just outside of Atlanta and is the type of place to rent a houseboat or a cabin for the weekend or and just bask in the surrounding bits of nature.
