The State Botanical Garden of Georgia is worth a visit at any time of year. This 313-acre oasis in Athens is home to several gorgeous garden. It’s filled with native and exotic plants that bloom throughout the year, so there’s always something to see. However, there’s a special event around Christmastime that makes a winter visit especially magical. The Winter Wonderlights event started in 2021 and was an immediate hit for the garden. This dazzling display of Christmas lights in Georgia is absolutely wonderful and a blast for the whole family. It’s already garnered praise and won awards. This year’s event is scheduled for select nights between November 23 and January 8. Check it out:
