We love new restaurants, and it’s always exciting when there’s a buzzed-about fresh new eatery that a reader sends in a nomination for. Being among the first to discover a hot spot is so much fun! However, we’re also firm believers in supporting long-time, established businesses. After all, the restaurant industry is incredibly difficult to be successful in. If a diner’s been around for decades, there’s more than likely a reason why. One long-standing diner in Atlanta that’s been around for just over 75 years is The White House Restaurant in Buckhead. It’s delicious and absolutely beloved by locals. Let’s look into its history:
The White House had a bit of an eventful start to life before finally settling in its current location.
The White House was bought by its current owner in 1971. He and his wife had worked at the diner for several years after immigrating from Greece and they fell in love.
It's easy to see why this is such a popular breakfast spot. The array of omelettes, sausages, biscuits, and more will have your mouth watering just reading the menu.
It's a delicious spot to grab a lunch, too! If you're looking for a hearty meal at a reasonable price served up with a smile, The White House is the place for you.
