There are lots of options for great pizza in Georgia. One of our favorites is the delicious DePalma’s Italian Cafe in Athens. The locally-owned spot has three branches throughout the Classic City, with each serving up amazing pastas. If you’re in the mood for pizza, that’s where this eatery really shines. And if you’re really in the mood for pizza, order a large. The slices are massive and bigger than the plate! You certainly won’t leave here hungry.
As a college town, it seems like few restaurants stay in business very long in Athens. Sure, we've got some spots that do manage to stick around, but overall, the city seems to have a revolving door of in-and-out restaurants.
One spot that has managed to defy the trend is DePalma's Italian Cafe. This Italian eatery opened in 1988 and has grown to three locations throughout Athens.
All three locations boast refined interior dining areas. You'll find a classy, elegant atmosphere that retains an air of cozy romance without being too upscale.
