I’ve got to open this article with a confession: I’m a bit biased when it comes to the little Bavarian town of Helen. It’s my favorite small town in the Peach State. It’s designed to look like a little German village in Georgia, it’s nestled in the beautiful mountains, and I love the kitschy pizazz of it all. The town certainly has its detractors, most of whom degrade it as a tourist trap, largely due to the fact that the area’s primary industry is tourism and there’s no shortage of shopping opportunities here. I’ll admit, some of these shops do specialize in mostly useless trinkets and knick knacks, but there are most definitely some gems tucked away in this tiny town. One of my favorite shops in Helen, GA is Lindenhaus Imports. Check it out:
