If you’re one of those people, the good news is you’ve come to the right place. One for example, has us extremely excited…okay, and maybe a little scared. Pine Mountain Gold Museum has a ghost train this October that is geared toward the whole family, but has some severe supernatural surprises up its sleeve. People say these mine shafts are haunted by witches and ghosts to this day. Do you have what it takes to ride the ghost train and find out?
There has been such a rich history of more than 100 years in the gold mining industry for the town of Villa Rica, Georgia.
Guests flock to Pine Mountain Gold Museum to immerse themselves in the culture of what the gold mining industry once was, plus browse all the artifacts and exhibits from this fascinating time.
This is the tale of Maynard Shaw, who was rumored to have risen to power and prestige and married the beautiful Margaret against her will, all because of his experimentation with black magic.
Because Elizabeth loved the solitude of the woods so much, the people of the town concluded she was a witch.
Elizabeth identified herself as a white witch initially, but after the accusations and blatant bullying from the townspeople, she became a black witch, as well as the most powerful High Priestess of her coven.
Her powers grew, and the people of the town took matters into their own hands.
In a drunken rage, they chased Elizabeth up Pine Mountain, tied her to one of the oak trees, and burned her, and the other witches who came to her aide, at the stake.
In her dying breath, Elizabeth cursed the entire town, the mountain, all its people, and the generations to come.
