It really goes without saying that Georgia has some of the most phenomenal state parks in the entire country. Waterfalls in abundance, flora and fauna constantly changing, and miles upon miles of vast mountaintop views. Our parks are a hiker’s paradise or a perfect weekend getaway for the family. But really there is one park that keeps Georgians and out-of-towners alike coming back year after year. The one park that draws crowds every season for some serious mountain biking, hiking trails, rock climbing and even rafting and kayaking.

This park is none other than Tallulah Gorge State Park.

Many people may wonder, “Tallulah Gorge State Park gets all the attention! Why is it such an amazing state park?!”
