But what some visitors may not know is that there is an enchanted fairy wonderland tucked away inside that is a magical experience. Fairyland Caverns in Rock City, Georgia highlights some of the most whimsical scenes straight out of the very best fairytales.
Her husband hired a sculptor to create scenes from some of the most popular fairytales and moved these scenes in 1947 into what is now known as Fairyland Caverns.
Don’t worry if you don’t automatically recognize some of the displays, there are placards throughout the cavern that explain from which fairytale each scene is meant.
