Magnolia Springs State Park in Millen, Georgia is one of the most beautiful and underrated parks in the state. Clocking in at over 1,000-acres, visitors can tackle miles of hiking trails to really get a taste of this natural paradise. One of the true highlights of this park is the crystal clear spring smack dab in the middle, which is said to pump out seven million U.S. gallons per day.
But beyond just the aesthetic beauty of this park, it’s also quite functional as well. There are a handful of different hiking trails that can be enjoyed, each rated as easy-to-moderate.
Start with the 0.5-mile Woodpecker Woods Nature Trail with features a boardwalk spanning over the actual spring. This hike is great for photos and to see common woodpeckers!
